Very wild and windy but it was 31st December! Imagine it's much nicer for families in Summer. As a dog friendly beach we found it really good to wander along the seafront allowing our labrador freedom to run around when appropriate.
Great beach, especially for dog walks. You can spend the morning walking the dog at the beach and getting some beach air in your lungs. Then pop into the victory, white hart or coast inn for some lunch. It is a lovely place to visit regardless of the season.
Not the best beach to find if I’m honest. Sandy and stoney and when the tide is out bit of a mud Pitt. Good for the kids crabbing maybe or she’ll collecting. Didn’t want to stay long lots of little jumping bugs etc. not for me but it was empty and did have good toilet facilities and a shop to get water and food.
Take a pack lunch the sea is muddy and lots of pebbles which my boys end up cutting their feet. Got a bad place but could we do with more things there?
A week back I visited this place with friends. This is the first beach I have visited is muddy and not suitable for swimming. However we dipped ourself inside the water and played with beach ball. It was lovely experience seeing the water …
Great beach but lots of sharp oyster shells on beach so can easily get lots of cuts without beach shoes. Ample parking most days and there is a cafe there open 10 till 5 toilets on other side of access road and a small play area. A very …
Lovely beach walk, not the softest of sand but still nice. Also home to the nicest beach huts in the UK. The pastel huts at the far end are immaculate and make for the prettiest pictures!
Endless rows of nice beach huts,
Lovely views toward St Peter's Chapel,
Not very crowded today, couples, families and lots of kids and dogs, having a nice chill day at the Beach.
Went on a weekday, very few visitors, amazing beach and sea with the natural reserve close by
A very quiet beach, beautiful scenery with cute little colourful beach huts. Almost perfect but unfortunately it isn’t as it’s not a sandy beach, it’s stones and sand mixed.
